Christianity 101

About the Club

There seems to be many who know “about” Christianity, but have not really understood it all that well.  Our purpose is to help folks get a handle on the basics, as well as a refresher course for others.  We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  The location will normally be at the Clubhouse, although for the summer months we may meet at the Campers Village shelter house when the weather is conducive. The topic, time, and location for each of these monthly growth opportunities will be advertised in the “Cider Press.”

About Mike

Mike Bratten began this club in 2022 and is the leader.  He has served 42 years in local ministries of various sizes, from 30 to 600 people.  Mike & his wife Correne moved to Apple Valley in 2020 and absolutely love it here!  While Correne enjoys fishing & crafts, Mike would rather be golfing or playing pickleball.  He has a Masters Degree in the New Testament, worked as a director for medical missions, traveled to Israel 4 times, and is a consultant for churches around the state.

Club's Purpose:  Clubs within Apple Valley may be organized by Property Owners for the interests and enjoyment of those Property Owners who wish to become members or participants.  Clubs who wish to be covered under AVPOA liability insurance, thus becoming an AVPOA sanctioned club, MUST comply with the club rules.  Any club formed within Apple Valley which does not conform to the state rules, WILL NOT become sanctioned and thus not covered by AVPOA insurance protection.

Currently meeting the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday of the month (and the 5th Wednesday when it occurs) from 2-4 PM at the Club House.
